Firefighting equipment no longer needed at Stansted Airport is being donated to help save lives in Eastern Europe.
30 decommissioned Cromwell Helmets, retired by the airport’s fire service, will be shipped to Macedonia by the firefighter charity, Operation Florian. Based in the UK, the charity provides equipment and training to improve fire fighting capabilities in developing countries around the world.

We would like to invite you to the first in a set of Stansted Breakfasts for this year. Our first breakfast meeting will be held at Weston Business Centres, in conjunction with the Essex Chambers of Commerce, and our Guest Speaker for this event will be Tim Hawkins, London Stansted Airport's new Planning and Regulation Director.
Tim will be speaking about the preparations for the Olympics, and planning and preparation for the future of the airport.
