Situated on the B1256 at Little Canfield close to Stansted Airport, The Lion & Lamb offers the perfect venue to savour some first class food in an idyllic traditional setting.

Owner Mike Shields and his team would like to invite you to sample some of their superb meals in their delightful restaurant open 7 days a week. Now using his many talents Mike is able to offer high-quality food and wine with a professional, but relaxed friendly service. 

Running alongside the restaurant, the bar is an ideal place to relax, unwind and socialise. The decor is classic traditional English with beautiful old blackened oak beams stretching out across the ceilings. In the Winter, you can cosy up around the huge fireplace at the end of the main bar and enjoy the kind of atmosphere you only find in a traditional English pub. The bar offers a wide selection of quality premium beers & spirits. 

For those who do not have time to dine at the restaurant, there is an array of delectable and light bar snacks served throughout the day. 

With it's country charm the Lion & Lamb is a firm favourite with diners for both business and pleasure offering a public dining area and a self-contained room comfortably seating 30 to 35 diners with direct access to the private patio area and gardens. Families with children are welcome, and there is beer garden to the rear of the Restaurant & Bar offering ample seating on wooden bench patio suites.
